Dr. Katrina N Edmonds, PhD, MFT, LMFT-AS is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor. She has been practicing for almost 25 years and has historically serviced the Philadelphia & South Jersey areas with plans to expand in late 2026. Dr. Edmonds is an adjunct professor, clinical supervisor for local universities, and a certified life coach and mentor. Dr. Edmonds completed her doctoral degree at Eastern University on Sacrifice and Black Christian clergy. Her research interests are mental health for clergy populations, MFT graduate education, and service delivery for special needs communities. Dr. Edmonds is known for her family of origin/genogram work and for addressing issues such as the impacts of chronic illness on families, religion/spirituality, self-esteem/self-worth, trauma, grief/loss, parenting, forgiveness/reconciliation and addiction. Dr. Edmonds has provided numerous workshops and trainings to both professional and lay people on topics such as parenting, communication, genograms, medical family therapy, family systems and impact of incarceration on the family. She is devoted to helping people acknowledge and accept their past so they can inform their present and improve their future. To help those who want to heal and grow beyond ascribed limitations. To help individuals, couples and families reauthor their legacy and be intentional and healthy about what they want to leave behind and why.
